INGREDIENTS FOR MARINATION
- 500 Gram mutton.
- 100 gram – butter
- 100-gram curd (take thick curd)
- 2 tbsp ginger -garlic paste.
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp lemon juice.
- fenugreek leave.
- salt.
- 1 tsp red chili powder.
- 1 tsp garam-masla powder.
Take a bowl add all the ingredient and mix it properly . and keep the mixture for at least 3/4 hours. you can keep it overnight also.
INGREDIENT FOR GRAVY
- 2 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
- 2 tbsp garam- masla.
- 1 cup fresh cream.
- 1 tbsp red chili powder.
- 300 gram of tomatoes.
- 1 tsp turmeric powder.
- 1 tbsp sugar.
- Salt according to taste.
- Dry fenugreek leaves.
- 300 gram of tomatoes.
- 200 gram of onion.
- 50-gram cashew nuts (soaked in water).
- Vegetable oil
- 2 butter slice.
METHOD
- Take a thick bottom frying pan add oil into it. once oil gets hot add marinated mutton and keep in a low flame and cook for 15-20 minutes.
- Keep flipping the mutton pieces. once it turned little brown remove the mutton. and keep it aside.
- Use the same pan add oil and add chopped onion, also add 2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste, and cook for 3-4 minutes once onion becomes little translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes and saute it for more 2 minutes.
- Once tomatoes turn little soft and mushy.
- Add 4 cups of water . also add turmeric powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, salt and cashew nuts.
- And cook for more 15 minutes in low flame. once mixture turns little thick. keep it aside.
- Cool the mixture and grind it in a blender or mixer and use the strainer to remove the skin and seeds of tomatoes.
- Add 2 spoons of sugar in the puree and mix it.
- Heat the pan and add 100-gram butter and add puree and cook for 2 more minutes in low flame.
- once the butter starts coming on the side.
- Add chicken pieces and 1 cup of fresh cream and a small pinch of dry fenugreek leaves (Kasuri methi). and cook it in low flame for 30 minutes.
- And your dish is ready to serve you can add more cream on the top.
